    WHY ATTEND

Editor’s review Future of Industrial Innovation - London, December 2019

The second in the Financial Times and PTC series consisted of an opening economic outlook which set the scene and provided guests with an insight into the current state of play of worldwide industrial production. The following keynote then dived deep into best practice examples of technology innovation - using AR, VR and IoT - to highlight the importance of making sure technology adoption and workforce expectations are aligned.

Chaired by Peter Campbell, the FT’s motor industry correspondent - speakers included senior stakeholders from PTC, Financial Times, Centrica, Jaguar Land Rover, GE Healthcare, Carlsberg, Centre for Digital Built Britain, Elekta, McKinsey & Co. and Rockwell Automation. Collectively, they found that whether you’re talking about new advanced technologies or strategic challenges to overcome, it will always come down to the efficiencies of production - something all manufacturers must get right.

The event “went above my expectations. Real world solutions for real world issues.”
